Afrin Aqueduct is a historic water structure northwest of Bağarası village, formerly known as Cengin, in the Polateli district of Kilis. Located in a narrow valley opening towards the Afrin River, the surviving two-tier aqueduct is thought most likely to date to the Roman period. Built from dressed stone, the structure has surrounding remains indicating that it once extended farther along the valley. However, the original starting and ending points of the water supply system have not been conclusively identified. For those interested in ancient engineering and the rural heritage of Kilis, Afrin Aqueduct represents a distinctive archaeological landmark.
