About this place
Çamlıca Hill is one of Istanbul's best-known panoramic viewpoints. Located on the Asian side, its gardens and elevated terraces overlook the Bosphorus, the historic peninsula and much of the city's skyline.
Why visit?
- Take in wide views across both the European and Asian sides.
- Walk through landscaped gardens and green spaces.
- Combine a scenic break with nearby Çamlıca Mosque.
Visitor tips
- Clear mornings often provide the best visibility.
- Sunset can be beautiful but is usually busier.
- Bring an extra layer because exposed viewpoints may be windy.
Suggested visit
Allow approximately 1 to 2 hours.
