Before you leave

  1. 1At Istanbul Airport, follow the official Metro signs to the M11 station.
  2. 2Before entering, check the live M11 service status and confirm that Gayrettepe is the correct interchange for your journey.
  3. 3Take the M11 metro toward Gayrettepe and leave the train at Gayrettepe.
  4. 4Follow the interchange signs from M11 to the M2 metro. This transfer may involve a considerable walk, so allow extra time with luggage.
  5. 5Take the M2 metro toward Yenikapı and leave at Vezneciler.
  6. 6From Vezneciler, either walk toward Sultanahmet or walk to the Laleli–Üniversite T1 tram stop.
  7. 7If using the tram, take T1 toward Kabataş and leave at Sultanahmet.
  8. 8Open the final walking route to your accommodation because Sultanahmet streets, hills and hotel entrances vary.
