  • ✓Tours reduce transfer planning
  • ✓A rental car provides flexibility

Things to consider

  • !Many sites are outside central Antalya
  • !Public transport may not reach the entrance
  • !Combining distant sites can create exhausting days
Near central Antalya+

Perge is among the more practical archaeological trips from central Antalya. Termessos is geographically nearby but requires road transport and a significant uphill walk.

Aspendos is east of the city and is often combined with Perge or Side.

Kemer and the western coast+

Phaselis and Olympos lie southwest of Antalya. Regional services may stop at a road junction rather than directly at an entrance.

Myra and Patara are much farther west and require a long day or an overnight base.

Choose a safe operator+

When booking a tour, confirm the licensed operator, included admissions, meal arrangements, pickup area and return time.

For rental cars, review insurance, fuel, deposit, parking and road conditions before departure.

Important notes

  • ⚠️Do not combine too many distant ruins in one day.
  • ⚠️Carry water and sun protection.
  • ⚠️Check official opening and admission information.
