In Ürgüp’s Temenni neighbourhood, Asmalı Konak is a historic stone mansion best known as a filming location for the Turkish television drama of the same name. For fans of the series, its familiar façade brings a little screen nostalgia into a Cappadocia trip. Even if you have never watched the show, the mansion offers a glimpse of Ürgüp’s traditional residential architecture.
