About this place
Kemere Bridge is a historic stone bridge connecting Boztepe to the mainland in Amasra, Bartın. Linking the Sormagir and Zindan sections of Amasra Castle, it forms an important part of the town’s historic landscape. Dated to the Byzantine period, the bridge is distinguished by its stone arch spanning the water. Among the places to visit in Amasra, Kemere Bridge is a natural stop when exploring the old town and Boztepe on foot.
