Pamukkale from Antalya with kids — is a day trip too much?
Pamukkale looks amazing, but these day tours sound LONG. Would you honestly do the round trip from Antalya with little kids, or stay overnight? How much of the day is actually at Pamukkale versus hotel pickups, driving and shopping stops? That's the bit I can't figure out from the tour descriptions. Also, how manageable is the walking for a toddler? Are there slippery sections, places to sit in the shade, and bathrooms reasonably close by? I dont want to get halfway around and realize we've overdone it. If you've taken one of these tours recently, what time did you leave your hotel and actually get back? And was the entrance ticket included in the advertised price? I'd love to see it, but getting back at midnight with two miserable kids would be a pretty expensive lesson lol.
