Midye dolma — would you eat them from a street stall?

Really want to try the stuffed mussels in Istanbul, but getting mixed advice about buying them off the street. Some people say they eat them all the time, others say don’t risk it. Do you eat them from stalls yourselves, or stick to shops?

I’d go for a shop keeping them refrigerated over a tray sitting out on the street. It’s the storage that matters, not whether the place has a proper sign — there’s cooked rice in there too, and you can’t tell how long they’ve been sitting out just by looking.
