Anyone done a Bosphorus dinner cruise solo?
Quite fancy seeing the Bosphorus at night, but not sure about booking a dinner cruise on my own. Is it mostly couples and big groups? Wondering if I’d enjoy it or just wish I’d taken a normal ferry.

Solo isn’t the issue—I’d skip the dinner-show boat for what you want. You’re paying for a set meal, stage performances and often a DJ. Hard to enjoy the shoreline or chat when the speakers are doing all the talking 😅 The better tip is the municipal **Mehtap Turu**, the moonlight ferry excursion, if you’re visiting during its summer Saturday season. It goes up to Anadolu Kavağı, stops so you can eat ashore, then sails back at night. It’s a full evening, though: the listed return to Eminönü is after midnight. Outside that season, I’d eat ashore and take an evening ferry or a sightseeing-only cruise. For night views, I wouldn’t pay for the dinner-show package.
