"I was walking near the Eminönü pier looking for a Bosphorus cruise. A well-dressed agent with an official-looking badge approached me and offered a 'Luxury VIP Yacht Tour with live music and free drinks' for €40. He showed me beautiful catalog pictures of a small, uncrowded luxury yacht. I bought the ticket. However, when he led me to the boarding dock, I was pushed onto a massive, standard double-decker public ferry packed with over 200 people. The 'free drinks' turned out to be a single small cup of boxed juice, and the 'live music' was just a loud, broken speaker playing old pop songs. The regular public ferry right next to us cost less than €5 for the exact same route
