I’m planning a trip to Yalova, Türkiye, and I’m thinking of visiting Delmece Plateau and Dipsiz Lake. The photos I’ve seen show beautiful forest scenery, peaceful lakes and wide-open plateau landscapes. It looks like a wonderful place to spend a day surrounded by nature. However, since I haven’t been there before, I’d love to hear from people who have visited and learn more about transport, hiking trails, camping facilities and practical details. Where exactly are Delmece Plateau and Dipsiz Lake, and how do you get there? How long does it take to drive from Yalova city centre or Çınarcık? Is the road via Teşvikiye paved all the way? Can you comfortably reach the area in an ordinary car, or are some sections narrow or in poor condition? Is public transport available, or is visiting without a car difficult? How far apart are Dipsiz Lake, Delmece Plateau and Erikli Waterfalls? Can you visit Delmece Plateau and Dipsiz Lake on the same day? Does it make sense to combine all three places into one itinerary, or should you allow separate time for each? Which location should you enter into your navigation app to find the correct route? Where exactly is Dipsiz Lake, and how long does it take to reach it on foot? Are Büyük Dipsiz Göl (Big Dipsiz Lake) and Küçük Dipsiz Göl (Small Dipsiz Lake) in the same area, or is there a walking distance between them? Is it easy to visit both lakes? Are the trails clearly marked, or can it be difficult to find your way through the forest? Is there an entrance fee for Delmece Plateau? Is visiting Dipsiz Lake free, or are there charges for parking, vehicle access or admission? Does anyone know the current fees? For people planning to visit at the weekend, are there specific opening hours, parking restrictions or advance booking requirements? Is camping allowed at Delmece Plateau? Are there designated places where you can pitch your own tent, or can you camp elsewhere in the area? Is camping free or paid? Are there toilets, showers, drinking water, electricity or shops selling food? Is there a suitable area for campervans and motorhomes? Can you camp around Dipsiz Lake? Is it safe and permitted to pitch a tent near the water, or is it better to use the camping areas at Delmece Plateau? Are campfires and barbecues allowed? Are there seasonal restrictions due to the risk of forest fires? What are the hiking opportunities like in the area? Which hiking trails are available around Delmece Plateau and Dipsiz Lake? Are the routes suitable for beginners, or do they require previous hiking experience? Approximately how many kilometres do you need to walk, and how long does it take to complete the trails? Do the paths become muddy or slippery after rain? Can you swim in Dipsiz Lake? Is swimming dangerous because of the lake’s depth or natural conditions? Is fishing permitted? Are there suitable places for a picnic around the lake, or is the area mainly intended for hiking, sightseeing and nature photography? What is the best time of year to visit Delmece Plateau and Dipsiz Lake? Is spring, summer or autumn the best season? Are the lakes particularly beautiful in autumn when the surrounding trees change colour? Does snowfall make access difficult in winter? Does the temperature drop significantly in the evenings, even during summer? Is the area suitable for families? Would hiking with children be difficult? Can older visitors or people who are not used to long walks reach the lakes comfortably? Is mobile phone reception reliable? Are there any nearby shops, restaurants or petrol stations, or should visitors bring all their food and drinks with them? Would you recommend visiting Delmece Plateau and Dipsiz Lake on a day trip from Istanbul, Bursa or Kocaeli? Is it worth making the journey just to see the lakes, or would it be better to plan a wider nature trip that also includes Delmece Plateau, Erikli Waterfalls and other nearby attractions? Finally, if you’ve visited Delmece Plateau or Dipsiz Lake recently, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. Any up-to-date information about entrance fees, road conditions, camping facilities, hiking distances and cleanliness would be very helpful. I’d especially like to know what first-time visitors should be aware of before setting off.
